The woodwork in this room has been repaired/replaced, and a new brick hearth installed. The original mantel was missing, so I created one using trim elements from elsewhere in the house.

Trim is back up and the painting has begun.Still need to deal with the window situation.
Patching nail holes and finishing closet to left of fireplace.
Brick hearth and new mantel installed. Former closet to right of fireplace is now a recessed area for bookshelves.
