The first step was to re-attach as many fragments as possible. Some were so broken up as to be unusable, and some are not shown attached yet since they were to go over re-built areas. |

Once the loose pieces were attached, castings were made for missing items, and additional missing areas were built up. When this work was complete, the new work recieved several coats of gesso, and the shallow missing area of the inner lip was built up with gesso infill. |
